The Park Científic i Tecnològic de la Universitat de Girona has an area of 75,000 m2, just below the Montilivi Campus and connected to it by a new roadway. This is an optimal situation for several reasons. Leading among them is the strategic location – close to main roadways in and out of Girona, allowing easy access to the city centre, while at the same time avoiding the typical pressure of an inner-city location. Such a privileged enclave allows infrastructures of the latest generation to exist in harmony with the wooded and grassy areas around them. In the Park there are currently six buildings – with a total area of 35,000 m2 – where 1,300 people work daily.
