The Centre d'Investigació en Robòtica Submarina (CIRS) is a platform for submarine robotics occupying 800 m2. It has a pool that reaches 5 metres in depth, submersible lighting and a turbulence generator with a 20 m2 underwater room with observation windows to observe work at first hand. The building was specifically designed for the performance of research and development of excellence in this field, with the main user being the Research Group in Computer and Robot Vision, which has around sixty researchers.
